Hacienda Moyano is set into El Yunque's steep southern slopes and possesses a dense diversity in it's few acres - with a river, creek, rainforest edge, taro-filled pond, floodplains, cornucopia of edibles interspersed and of course quite a bit of lawn/pool/concrete.
The first is sped-up (sorry if dizzying at times) footage of the drive from the highway exit ramp up to the property. Here you pass the Municipal Cemetery for Barrio El Duque, in-use pastureland, valley homes, mountain views & the enclosing rainforest itself. There is a greater sense of a remote & rural character here on the welcome-drive than at earlier rainforest inns I've visited.
